Framework agreement for making grooves on runways

Avinor AS

Avinor has a need for a framework agreement with a contractor that can make grooves at airports. The framework agreement shall also be used by the Norwegian defence at their air stations in Norway (Rygge, Andøya and Bardufoss). Making grooves means cutting drainage tracks in runways. The runway surface can be asphalt or concrete.
From 1.7.2009 the regulations require that runways shall have grooves if the texture is less than 1.0 mm. The measure can also be used on other runways where the texture is > 1.0 mm or on special areas on taxiways.
