The objective of the research based evaluation is to obtain knowledge of i.a. if and how various measures contribute to improve lower secondary education. The research based evaluation shall focus on the following principal measures: — School based competence development comprising the priority areas class management, arithmetic, reading and writing — Available educational resources. — Educational network. The research based evaluation shall be implemented during the period May 2013 - December 2018.
