Research on quality evaluation in trade and vocational training

A general quality evaluation system for trade and vocational training shall function as a tool for national education authorities, school owners, schools and entities for the evaluation and analysis of the state of the training. The system must cover all training, both in school and in companies. The Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training is working to develop such a national quality evaluation system for trade and vocational training. In order to ensure sufficient knowledge and to ensure that the measurements and indicators which shall be used in the quality evaluation system are founded on knowledge, a research and review work is planned with a limit of 4 000 000 – 6 000 000 NOK per annum for a 4 year period. It will be possible to apply for parts of the assignment. Requests for prequalification shall be sent electronically via the Mercell portal, www.mercell.no by the deadline. Late applications will be rejected. (The system does not allow applications to be sent via Mercell after the deadline has expired.) We recommend that the application is uploaded in good time before the deadline for receipt of tenders, e.g. minimum of 1 hour before the application deadline expires. If there is any additional information from the awarding authority which leads to you wanting to change the application before the deadline expires, you can go in and open the application, make any changes and send it in again right up until the deadline for receipt of applications expires. The application which is received last will be seen as the final application. The tender requires an electronic signature in order to confirm that it is the actual tenderer who has sent in the application. An electronic signature can be obtained from www.commfides.com, www.buypass.no or www.bankid.no. Attention is drawn to the fact that it can take a few days to get an electronic signature, so this process needs to be started as soon as possible.
