Development plan with KU for new airport in the Hammerfest region

Hammerfest kommune

A new airport shall be built at Grøtnes by Hammerfest. The assignment comprises the design of a development plan with related planning documents, as described in the tender documents. Grøtneset and the area in the sea South of Grøtnes represents the area of the airport itself. In connection with this, other businesses which may be relevant to operate around an airport, may also be established. Such businesses may be helicopter, bus, car and boat transport, commercial activities, hotels etc. Included in the assignment is also the task of planning the relocation of businesses that are based in the area at present. During the planning process the relocation of these businesses must be clarified. A potential development plan for the relocation of the existing businesses is not part of this planning process.
