Klif invite companies to give tenders for monitoring the air and precipitation quality in the border areas with Russia for one year. The monitoring of air and precipitation quality has been carried out since the 1980s. The monitoring programme comprises acidifying compounds in precipitation (one station), SO2 in the air at two stations and has more recently included heavy metals in the air (two stations) and precipitation (one station).
Tenders shall be given for a programme set up which covers the entire calendar year of sampling and analyses as well as reporting which will be carried out next year.

Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:

(1) A statement of the company's health, environment and safety policy;

(2) A statement of the quality assurance/quality control system operated by the company;

(3) A certificate issued by an accredited certification authority attesting to the quality assurance, production or technical capacity of the company, or equivalent documentation (for service and works contracts);

(4) Other documentation required (please state below).

A short and general description of the company shall be given. This is to include an account of the company’s business idea and core activities related to the contract, an overview of the company’s history and a description of current activities.

Programme/project description - a description of how tenderers will carry out the programme’s various parts, e.g. sampling, analyses and reporting. The project description shall include milestones, schedule, analysis methods, sampling methodology (NS) etc. see Annex B.

List of similar contracts that the offered personnel have participated in during the last 5 years (own and hired).

This notice is subject to the Norwegian parliament approving the budget and the Ministry of the Environment’s budget grant to Klif in the national budget for 2012 and 2013. If the budget limits are reduced and are not sufficient to carry out the programme as described in the tender documents, we will have to either reduce the amount of the announced programme or not implement it.
