The procurement will ensure that the Norwegian Defence's personnel who serve on the Norwegian Defence's vessels fulfil civilian requirements in accordance with the STCW convention. The courses must be certified by the Norwegian Maritime Directorate. Due to service reasons, all courses, apart from GSO (previously IMO 50) must be held in the Bergen area.
