Annual monitoring of lakes and rivers in the Jæren water area in 2018 (2019-2021) (Klepp kommune)
The municipalities in the Jæren water area have had joint annual monitoring of the Jæren waterways since 2004. Annual monitoring reports are issued that present data from the entire measurement period. The monitoring reports can be downloaded at www.vannportalen.no/rogaland, under Jæren water area. The last monitoring report for 2017 will be available on the water area’s homepage as soon as it is completed and approved. The assignment is for monitoring 7 lakes, biological monitoring at 13 measuring stations in rivers and in addition reporting and assessing water chemistry data of the results from government and municipal monitoring programmes in rivers. Review of driving forces for growth in different types of urban regions (Ministry of Local Government and The Department of Regional Development)
KMD would like to enter into a contract for a review of Norway's varied urban region structure that focuses on regional and business differences. There is a lot of literature and knowledge on urbanisation as a driving force and effect connected to urban growth. A lot of the academic literature on urbanisation has been based on empirical data from countries with a different urban structure than in Norway. Project manager in a merging process between Universitetet i Stavanger (UiS) and Høgskolen Stord/Haugesund (HSH) (Universitetet i Stavanger)
Based on the future merging between UiS and HSH, a project manager in a full-time position shall be hired. The project manager shall administer the merging process work. The project manager shall report back to a liaison group comprising i.a of the top management at the 2 institutions. The start of works is ASAP, preferably during April 2015.
