We would like to procure a laser scanning confocal microscope with super resolution and high-speed options. It must be possible to use the system for confocal pictures in many different research projects and use it in a core facility with many different users. Typical samples that are to be analysed are:
— Transfected cells,
— living and fixated human cells,
— bacteria,
— viruses,
— tissue and biopolymers.

The extent of the tender will cover 4 TEM instruments and upgrading of existing instruments in Oslo and Trondheim. Two instruments will be localised in Trondheim (TEM 1 and TEM 3a or 3b) and two in Oslo (TEM 2 and TEM 4a or 4b).
In order to be qualified the tenderer must offer:
— fully functional (S) TEM instruments,
or
— electron energy loss spectrometers/imaging filters.
