OSL, henceforth referred to the Awarding Authority, is planning an upgrade of the airport's runway lights, the upgrade will primarily apply to the replacement of the halogen fixtures in the current lighting systems for the fixtures with light sources of the light emitting diodes (LED). The upgrade is planned over several years. The goal is that all of the lighting that is embodied in the asphalt will be replaced with LED fixtures by 2024.
