Phasing out of mainframe in the police (Re-hosting) (Politiets fellestjenester [Norwegian Police Shared Services])
Main frame has been in use by the Police for a long time and applications and infrastructure function satisfactorily. The main frame platform based on GCOS8 and IDS/II is not strategic for the Police for many reasons and shall therefore be phased out. There are currently a number of applications on the mainframe and only one of them is not included in the migration plan.
