2012-12-03Procurement of instant game system (Norsk Tipping AS)
As a part of Norsk Tipping’s, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, renewal process, a new central system for scratch ticket games (instant game system) shall be procured. The Awarding Authority intends to launch the system during 2013. Expected life span of the system is between 10-12 years.

The object of the procurement is to replace the existing mainframe, type Olympus2, model DPS9000/TA-242, with operating system GCOS8 version 6.1. Communication is through Frontend processors GNSP on UNIX servers. The Awarding Authority uses separate servers for communication by means of Glink and Ggate.
