The site works consist of conventional driving (D&B) of two cross cut tunnels, each approx. 1km from Åsland towards the Follo railway's main tunnels. The tunnels are planned with a cross section of approx. 75-80 m². The work includes the removal of filling matter in front of and around the portaling area by the previous Åsland stone crushing plant's area, as well as the establishment of a foot/cycle path from Maurtuveien over the access area in order to separate cyclists and pedestrians from the site traffic.
