Vestnes Municipality intends to enter into a contract for the hire of a temporary school building. The number of pupils at Tresfjord School will increase in the coming school year (autumn 2022), which has led to a need for additional classrooms. Bjørkelangen skole (Bjørkelangen School) was taken into use in 2018. The school is in a 1-10 year school built for a two parallel school for the primary school level. Developments in student numbers and class division now indicate that there is a need for an expansion to a three-parallel school at the primary school level. The expansion is assumed to be of temporary duration pending the final determination of the school structure for the entire Aurskog-Høland Municipality.
