Gjøvik University College has a strong focus on a viable material production and is in close co-operation with the Norwegian industry. The strategy of HIG is to comply with the Lisbon and Gothenburg goals, by establishing a national competence centre for Additive Manufacturing, research, education and industrial utilisation.
The University College is dependent on top of the range equipment in order to comply with this role. Please refer to the attached requirement specification.

The scrap metals come from the Norwegian Defence's disposal of systems and material and shall be recycled/destroyed/recirculated.
