Automated cryogenic SQUID magnetometer for paleo- and rock magnetic measurements (The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU))
NGU needs a reliable automated cryogenic SQUID magnetometer for paleo- and rock magnetic measurements. The system must allow for automated measurements of natural remanent magnetization, anhysteretic magnetization and induced magnetization of small magnetic moments down to 10-9 Am2 in sediment u-channels (up to 150 cm length) and single samples (< 3x3x3 cm).
