2015-08-12COOP3- Core drilling of one borehole at Veidholmen (The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU))
The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) wishes to acquire more knowledge about the heat development in Norwegian crystalline rocks and its effect on heat flow and temperature in sedimentary basins on the Norwegian continental shelf. We also wiches to assess the potential for deep geothermal energy. To achieve this NGU plans to drill 1 (one) vertical hole to a depth of 800 m at Veidholmen north of Smøla island in Møre og Romsdal County and hereby invites qualified companies to submit bids on this …

2015-03-05Framework agreement for hire of helicopters for geophysical measurements (The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU))
During the 4 last years, the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) has conducted extensive geophysical measurements using helicopters. This assignment is part of the Government‘s priority programme on mapping mineral resources in Northern Norway (MINN) and similarly in Southern Norway (MINS). This activity will continue in 2015 and probably in further other 3-4 years.
NGU is now requesting a price quotation for hiring helicopters mainly for 2015 but with an optional extension for 2016, 2017, 2018 and …

2013-05-08Automated cryogenic SQUID magnetometer for paleo- and rock magnetic measurements (The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU))
NGU needs a reliable automated cryogenic SQUID magnetometer for paleo- and rock magnetic measurements. The system must allow for automated measurements of natural remanent magnetization, anhysteretic magnetization and induced magnetization of small magnetic moments down to 10-9 Am2 in sediment u-channels (up to 150 cm length) and single samples (< 3x3x3 cm).
The instrument should be based on a pulse tube cryocooler allowing for completely liquid helium free operation, and effectively shield the samples …

2013-04-16X-ray Imaging Solution for Drillcores (The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU))
NGU wants to upgrade its X-ray system for inspection of drillcore material with advanced equipment which can replace the current solution. The current facility is divided into two rooms: a radiation-protected X-ray room and a control room. The operator controls and manages the X-ray equipment from the control room, with visual monitoring of the X-ray system through a protective lead-glass window.
The upgrade consists of replacing the existing system with a new and advanced X-ray imaging solution for …
