Patrol boats for the Nornen class coastguard vessel - prequalification (The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency)
The five coastguard vessels in the Nornen class patrol in our coastal waters from the Swedish border in the south east to the Finnmarks coast in the north. These take care of functions such as: - search and rescue - fishing inspections - environment inspections - inspections of foreign vessels - navigation safety - oil protection - security - assertion of sovereignty - military assignments in times of peace, crisis and war. One new, or newer used (up to two years and 500 operating hours) single hull patrol boat for Lofoten and Vesterålen during 2021. Svolvær will be the home harbour.
