New library bus Kvinnherad municipality (Kvinnherad kommune, technical services)
Kvinnherad library currently has a book bus that is 7,75 metres long, 2,42 wide and max. 7,5 tons. It drives a total of approx. 12 000 km per annum. The bus has room for 2 000 media units (books, film, audio) and is run by a librarian. In autumn 2015 the bus had 35 stopping place every 14 days, where 26 of the stops were connected to schools or nurseries. The number of loans is very high, in 2015 — 32 975.
