FREVAR KF would primarily like material recovery of the wood, but due to economic conditions and budgeted considerations, we would therefore like tenders for both material recovery and energy recovery. A combination system with energy and material recovery will also be assessed.

FREVAR KF ́s sewage treatment plant is a mechanical/chemical facility that cleanses sewage water from Fredrikstad and Hvaler municipalities. Ready hygenised and stabilised sludge will be temporary storage at FREVAR ́s area together with sludge/bio residue from FREVAR ́s biogas facility. Frevar can, in periods, have an agreement for temporary storage of hygienicised and stabilised sludge from other municipalities.
