Construction phase 2 involves a new addition with wards on 3 floors above the current S block and on new foundations on 7 floors to replace parts of the current E block. In addition, two floors in the S block will be converted into wards that will be connected to the ward in the new SE block. These two floors have been demolished and prepared for internal reconstruction. Three floors of the M block will be converted to outpatient functions and day treatment, and the remaining E block on level 1 will be converted into a cancer centre and outpatient clinic. In total, this will amount to 9,152 m2 gross of new construction and 7,727 m2 gross of alterations, including technical areas and connections.
Construction phase 2 involves a new addition with wards on 3 floors above the current S block and on new foundations on 7 floors to replace parts of the current E block. The new construction is planned to start in Q1 2024 with move-in during 2026.
The contract will be executed as a Turnkey contract in accordance with NS8407:2011.
