The Buyer wishes to enter into parallel Framework Agreements with suppliers. NORCE LFI, The Laboratory of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (the Buyer), intends to procure acoustic transmitters and additional acoustic receivers for research-based tracking of fish in aquatic environments. The equipment will be used in both freshwater and marine systems, encompassing a wide range of environmental conditions, including temperatures from below freezing to approximately 30 °C, and at depths exceeding 500 m. The technology will be applied to a various range of fish species—from small salmonids to large predatory species (e.g., sharks)—representing a broad spectrum of life-history strategies and behavioural patterns. Deployments will take place across varied geographic regions, ranging from temperate coastal waters in the Skagerrak to Arctic and sub-Arctic environments. The equipment must therefore be robust, reliable, and suitable for long-term scientific monitoring under demanding field conditions. Further specifications are given in Appendix 1 – Requirements. The duration of the Framework Agreement is two (2) years following the date of the last signature hereto, with an option to extend for 1+1 additional years. The maximum total contract duration is four years. The Framework Agreement has an estimated value of NOK 2,500,000 - excl. VAT and a maximum value of NOK 6,000,000 - excl. VAT.
