Several exits shall be relocated/reconstructed, including exits at Berdalsbru and Geiskelid, and some minor access roads shall be established in this connection. The new National Road 9 shall have a road width of 7.5 metres. The project is a part of a larger project that aims to build roads with satisfactory standard and road width in order to get a yellow middle strip on the entire National Road 9 from Kristiansand to Hovden. The aim of the project is to increase traffic safety and accessibility by improving curves, establishing soft side terrain, increasing the road ́s load carrying capacity and improving visibility conditions. Documentation requirement:
