Collective contract bridge - 2023-2025
Nordland County is responsible for bridge maintenance on approx. 815 busy bridges in the county.
Nordland County would, thus, like to enter into a framework agreement with a tenderer for bridge maintenance.
The work primarily concerns minor maintenance work. The need for more comprehensive maintenance work and alteration work on some bridges can be subject to separate tender contests.
The assignments will vary in scope and include bridge maintenance of varying nature, including joint repairs, replacement of asphalt joints, repair of joint sills, repair of bearings, concrete repairs, minor road surface repairs, corrosion protection, replacement and repair of railings, edge beams, width expansions to bridges, water outlets, major concrete work due to flood damage, repairs due to undermining, stream flow diversion and the like. The assignments also include assistance with the builder's inspections of existing bridges.

The tenderer must also expect to execute work of a more emergency nature, e.g. due to flooding or traffic accidents.
The amounts stated in chapter D1 are based on experience from previous contracts. The stated amounts make up the expected amounts for the expected maintenance need for two years. The stated amounts are, however, uncertain.
Bridges must be identified by the bridge number.
The tenderer must have an active role in the bridge maintenance, and report any damages that are observed on bridges whilst on an assignment. Such damages must be reported as and when they are observed.
The bridge work described in chapter D1 includes, amongst other things, the following work:
Road work signage and traffic management
Concrete work.
- Concrete renovation.
- Casted land abutments and pillars, supporting wall work, edge beams, concrete wearing course, spray mortar, etc.
- Width expansion of bridge plates and land abutments for existing bridges.
- Alteration and superstructure.
- Plaste replacements.
Railing work:
- Repair and replacement of existing railings and assembly of new bridge railings including railing transitions, road railings and endings.
Steel work:
Steel work: Welding load-bearing structures and replacing parts of the structure. Steel reinforcement.
Surface treatment:
- Surface treatment of steel and concrete
Drainage:
- Removal of existing drainage pipes and assembly of new drainage pipes
Joint work:
- Repair of joints and joint sills
- Replacement of asphalt joints and metal joints.
- Establishment of individual asphalt and fissure joints
Other:
- Replacement of membrane and wearing course
- Replacement of bearings.
- Width expansion of existing bridges
- Replacement of pipe constructions
The work will be based on drawings.
The contracting authority has an option for 1+1 year extension of the framework agreement.
