1. About the assignment - purpose and scope of the procurement
Major housing development has been carried out along county road 60 between Blindheim and Flisnes in recent years, and there are plans to develop more residential areas. The county road is also an important thoroughfare, between the Magerholm-Sykkylven ferry connection.
More than 11,000 cars drive along the stretch per day, and the road system is not designed for current or future traffic. The aim of the project is to improve road safety for all road users as well as to improve the environment by reconstructing intersections and facilitating pedestrian, cycling and public transport.

1. Tender conference
A tender conference will be held via Teams on 18.10.23 at 10:00. Torbjørn Vatnehol and Bjørn Sunde will participate on the part of the contracting authority. Tenderers that would like to participate in the tender conference must notify Bjørn Sunde, email bjorn.sunde@mrfylke.no.

2. Tender delivery, 2-envelope system
Tenders must be submitted electronically using the so-called 2-envelope system.
Tenders must be submitted electronically in two separate documents and marked Envelope 1 and Envelope 2.
3. Mercell
The contracting authority uses electronic procurement processes via the system provider Mercell (www.mercell.no). Amongst other things, tenders must be submitted electronically by the stated tender deadline.
Tenderers are responsible for submitting tenders by the tender deadline.
Tenderers are recommended, therefore, to submit tenders well before the deadline expires, for example, at least 1 hour before the tender deadline.
