For the 2023/24 school year, Udir plans to start a centrally initiated study to assess order and conduct without marks. We are in need of more knowledge on the current grading system for order and conduct in the school, as well as the possible consequences of removing the grade.

The Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training is therefore announcing an assignment that consists of three parts.
- Evaluate assessments of order and conduct with marks
- Test and evaluate alternative practices for assessing order and conduct without marks
- Contribute to quality assurance of the methodology and professional design of the study Working in close connection with the schools and school owners is required. Udir ensures the involvement of the sector through its collaborative work with the reference group under assessment.

The project will run for three years and has a framework of NOK 5 million.
Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The contracting authority would like to agree on an option that can apply to an extension and an expansion of parts of the assignment. It may be applicable to follow up on important issues in connection with the development and evaluation of protocols. Additional analyses may also be required or some findings may require further investigation during the project period. The contracting authority will therefore have the option to extend the contract for up to two years.
