breach consequence class 4.
This contract is for the renovation of the existing Byvann dam. Byvann dam is a slab concrete dam with a central flood channel and gravity dam ends against the abutments built in 1965 to 1966. The dam has a total length of approx. 200 m and a maximum height of approx. 20 m. The flood course has an effective overflow length of 18.2 m. The dam is entirely founded on rock. The dam has a bottom emptying course with an emptying hatch and a reviewing hatch.

The renovation will include the following main activities, etc.
- Establishment, operation and disassembly of the rigging in the site area
- Excavation downstream from the slab concrete dam for a new hatch building
- Internal demolition work in the slab concrete dam for a new hatch construction
- Establishment of access into the slab concrete dam via cuttings in the frost wall in selected sections
- Casting lamellar (approx. 9000 m3) with a drainage gallery as well as reinforcement of the slab
- Reinforcement of the gravity dam ends with casting on site and anchorage to the foundation with rock bolts
- Removal of the existing main hatch and reviewing hatch, and installation of new hatches
- Assembly of a screen with a slab barrier (diving work)
- Contact injection of foundations for individual gravity dam parts
- Cleaning damaged concrete and concrete renovation
- Establishment of new deformation bolts along the dam crown
- Electrical installations and automation
- Instrumentation of the dam

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
Requirement 1: Tenderers must be legally registered.
Requirement 2: The company shall have its tax and duty payments in order.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Requirement 3: The company must have a credit rating that is at least equivalent to creditworthiness, and otherwise have sufficient financial capacity to fulfil the contractual obligations.

Minste nivå(er) av standarder: Good credit worthiness; satisfactory economic and financial capacity.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Requirement 4: The company must have experience from assignments of an equivalent nature, scope and complexity.
Requirement 5: The offered organisation and personnel must have satisfactory competence and the ability to fulfil the contract. Key personnel must speak and write good Norwegian. The site manager must have an education and practice that fulfils the requirements in the Dam Safety Regulations. This means a Bachelor in engineering/exam from an engineering university college as a construction engineer, or equivalent education, with relevant field and minimum 50 months relevant practice (recent). The site manager must be present at the site at least 3 days a week and 80% of the weekly site period.
