The contract includes foundation and concrete works in connection with the construction of a submerged weir/turbidity barrier 2. The submerged weir/turbidity barrier is to be located in the river course to Veikleåa, upstream the centre of Kvam in Nord-Fron municipality. The submerged weir has a length of approx. 60 m in the part of the dam that is above the highest water level, with a slack downstream slope and a total bottom width of approx. 150 m.
