Knowledge basis - competence need - green change in working life

The Competence Need Committee (KBU)2 (2021-2027) is a publicly nominated committee that will generate the best possible professional assessment of Norway's future competence needs.
The committee will submit a main report by 1 June 2023, which will draft competence needs for green change. In this report the committee will examine and highlight the competence needs of working life that are a consequence of, and a prerequisite for green change. In addition the committee will analyse the contributions from both education and competence development in working life as regards covering new and changed needs. The committee is to dive deep into selected industries and problems. A general perspective for the main report is that work must contribute to a lack of competence, to the smallest possible degree, being an obstacle for green change in Norway. In order to make good assessments of the competence needs, the committee needs a better knowledge basis.
