Competence for quality. The strategy for further education for teachers and school managers up until 2025 forms the frameworks for the national commitment to further education for teachers. The strategy is developed in a cooperation between KS, the employee organisations, the teacher training centres and the Ministry of Education and Research. Further education for teachers and school managers will be a permanent commitment, so that planning further education in schools and the development of offers at universities and university colleges can be included in the annual routines in the long term.
The further education scheme for vocational teachers is anchored in the strategy Vocational Teacher Scheme - for future skilled workers (2015). One of the measures concerns giving several vocational teachers an offer of competence development through developing new and more relevant offers.

The further education scheme for vocational teachers is anchored in the strategy Vocational Teacher Scheme - for future skilled workers (2015). One of the measures concerns giving several vocational teachers an offer of competence development through developing new and more relevant offers.

The target group for the further education service for teachers is teachers in primary and secondary schools and sixth form education, teachers who teach adults at these levels and teachers in arts schools.

The target group for the scheme is vocational teachers in sixth form colleges who teach subjects under the vocational education programme. Teachers from private sixth form colleges with certified vocational subjects in accordance with the Free School Act, section 2-1, can participate on an equal basis with teachers from public schools.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

The Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training has an option to expand the target group, expand the capacity per tender, and possibly make adjustments in the organisation of the offer (completely internet based or partially internet based) within the contract period/option period.

The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training would like an option for an extension of all or parts of the assignment for up to two years, i.e., up to and including the academic year 2026/27. The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training will decide whether the option will be taken up by the end of December 2024.

Expansions and extensions will be taken up after a dialogue with the Tenderer.
