The contract work consists of a turnkey contract for engineering design services for, the construction of, and guarantee liability for a new E6 between Berkåk and Vindåsliene. The contract consists of approx. 15 km new E6 and also includes the construction of approx. 15 km local and county roads. Several bridges, an approx. 800 m long tunnel for a county road with the associated control and safety measures are also to be established within these limits.
The E6 will mainly be constructed as a new road with H3 standard from the start of the lot in the south at Berkåk to Vindåsliene, whilst an approx. 4 km road, H2 standard with an overtaking lane in both directions (4 lanes) is to be constructed through Vindåsliene. Nye Veier also has high goals for the environment and climate that the turnkey contractor must contribute to achieving.
The contract is based on NS 8407:2011 with fixed price and includes an introductory phase with optimisation and preparation.
