Nordmøre og Romsdal Hospital is one of the most important projects in central Norway. The aim of the project is to deliver a future oriented and modern specialist health service offer for the population in the region. Sykehusbygg invites tenderers to submit a tender in a contest with negotiations for a contract with a tenderer that will be the turnkey contractor for the psychiatry and habilitation building at Hjelset (building 1240).
The architect has been procured through a separate contract and will be transferred to the turnkey contractor for the psychiatry and habilitation building.

The project Nordmøre og Romsdal Hospital (SNR) will deliver quality good professional specialist health services to the inhabitants of Nordmøre og Romsdal. The offer will be equal and accessible, adapted to the patient's need and will, through a good use of resources, be in the best interests of the community.

The project is split into two main parts; the construction of an emergency hospital at Hjelset with adjoining work, and the establishment of a specialist health service offer in a future district medical centre in Kristiansund. This contract is one of several contracts for the emergency hospital at Hjelset.

The emergency hospital includes functions for both psychiatry and somatics. There are, amongst other things, the following functions; operation, wards, outpatients, picture diagnostics, short-term ward, sterile centre, bed washing centre, laboratories, and pharmacy. This contract is for K2003 psychiatry and habilitation building for the emergency hospital at Hjelset.
