Vadsø Municipality plans to build a new nursing home wing with a total of 19 nursing home places for long-term stays. Hereunder 14 regular long-term places, three respite places and two reinforced/protected places. The measure is intended to be located east of the existing residential and care centre, and connection to this building will take place via the transport corridor. The existing foot and bicycle path will be moved east to the necessary extent, and the existing retaining wall to the north will be dismantled and external walls on the northern part of the new building will be constructed to be able to absorb earth pressure. Furthermore, a new sensory garden will be established near the parking place south of municipal road.

The tenderer must have good experience and competence from the implementation of equivalent projects, with comparable complexity. There is a requirement concerning having implemented equivalent assignments with a contract value of approx. NOK 50 million excluding VAT.

It is a requirement that the persons who undertake engineering design must have sufficient education and have implemented comparable engineering design projects of equivalent scope and complexity. This applies to both the leading and executing architect and specialist advisors.

NB! The following minimum requirements concerning education level for architects and specialist consultants is set:
• architect: 5 years at university level;
• landscape architect: 5 years at university level;
• specialist consultants, consulting engineer: 3 years engineer education at university college (in relevant disciplines).
It is a requirement that the person(s) who will be the tenderer's project manager, construction site manager(s) and foreman/foremen have sufficient experience/practice. The persons must have had these roles in comparable projects of equivalent scope and complexity.
