Melhus kommune (Melhus Municipality) is building a new primary school at Gimse with planned occupancy in the month of February.
Due to the Covid-19 infection situation, there is still uncertainty connected to planning for delivery and assembly. It is assumed that all of these conditions will be clarified before entering into contract with fixtures suppliers.
The project will be carried out as a turnkey contract with HENT as the contractor. The school will be completed in the period between the end of January — the beginning of March 2022.
Gimse primary school is a primary school for 1 - 7 year, dimensioned for 425 students. It will be constructed over three storeys. Premises for before-and-after school care and a sports hall are part of the school.
