Kort beskrivelse
The contracting authority for the contest is Agder County. Together with Rogaland, Agder and Vestfold and Telemark counties, the County has established ‘Jernbaneforum Sør’ (‘Railway forum South’). The forum's assignment is to work for the development of the Sørlandsbanen (the Sørland line) and Vestfoldbanen (the Vestfold line) into a modern and attractive railway. ‘Jernbaneforum Sør’ (‘Railway forum South’), together with other railway forums and the Norwegian Railway Directorate, is arranging an annual railway conference, ‘Jernbaneforum’, in Oslo in the beginning of March. In the recent years, the conference has expanded to become the most important railway conference in Norway. In 2021 the conference was held digitally. Next year's conference (2022) is set for March 10 in the Congress Centre in Oslo.
