Drammen kommune

The contract will cover the municipality's training need and ensure that relevant service locations in the contract period have easy access to training.
The training will ensure that the employees experience security and well-being in the workplace. By possessing the competence they need, they will be able to provide sound service to users and residents in the municipality.
As a step to be a new and greater municipality, Drammen has begun the process of prevention and management of violence, threats and harassment in the work place. Employees from different levels in the organisation, the trade unions and the Personnel Safety representative services are all involved. The work must be anchored administratively and politically. New planning will be prepared, a working model will be further developed and implemented, and competence development will be carried out broadly in the municipality.
A competence ladder consists of five steps has been prepared, however step 1 is not included in the procurement. Step 1 will be prepared internally in the municipality.

Target group

The tenderer must offer a scheme for training adapted to the service area challenges and employee needs. Relevant areas are: schools, nursery schools, NAV (social services), mental health and substance abuse, mental health residences, home services, dementia/geriatric psychiatry, services to people with lowered functional ability, various health services (24 hour emergency services, activity and rehabilitation and medical professional activity), pedagogic/psychological services, parking attendants, building application case processors, payroll and accounting, as well as cultural workers.

Course-training scheme

Drammen Municipality's work with violence and threats of violence against employees is divided into basic training, training of resource persons, updating and maintenance of external assistance with emergency need. During a four year period the supplier will offer training to approx. 1 900 persons of which 1 300 persons belong under basic training and 400 persons under training of resource persons and 200 persons will be recertified. There are a total of 60 participating companies and 40 of them want external assistance with emergency need.

Course premises for the physical meetings

Drammen Municipality has premises for the courses and catering. The courses will be held in the Competence Centre's premises at Grønland 53, 3019 Drammen, or at one of the municipality's other premises. Course holders must report who has participated, as well as issue course certificates per participant.
