The construction project is called ByggHaugesund2020. The preliminary project was approved by the boards of Fonna Hospital Trust and the Western Norway Regional Health Authority in spring 2017. The loan was granted in the 2018 State Budget.
The construction works at ByggHaugesund2020 are planned to take place in two stages, the first being the construction of an 18,000 m2 new construction with consequent reconstruction of 6 000 m of vacated premises. The second stage is planned for 2030 and consists of a new construction of about 15 000 m.
Medical equipment for the new building is comprehensive and will be purchase in multiple large and small procurement packages in the tender contests that will be held in the period 2019-2021.
The contracting authority would like tenders for one colour Instrument for Immunology.

The contracting authority would like tenders for one colour Instrument for Immunology.

Instrument dependent consumables will be included in addition.

The Section for Laboratory Medicine at Haugesund Hospital will procure a colour instrument for immunology for the new pathology laboratory. For this open tender contest, the equipment being procured will safeguard the hospital's need for a colour instrument for immunology, cf. — Annex 2 Requirements Specification.

In 2017, the Pathology Laboratory had 8700 histology remittances and 750 cytology remittances. 10 150 immunology glasses were specifically produced. There is a planned increase in activities in the department, and the procured equipment must have sufficient capacity so that activity can increase within histology and cytology by minimum 7% each year for 7 years.

The planned pathology laboratory must be efficient and provide good quality services. The procured equipment must, therefore, contribute to this goal through being good quality equipment with an option for automation and connection to the laboratory computer system, as well as through good supplier services. In addition the equipment must allow good sample logistics and work flow in the laboratory. Quick replies are important for us, so the equipment must be robust through good back-up and high running-time.

HMS is a very important factor in a pathology laboratory, and employees must be protected from exposure to chemicals that are injurious to health and bad ergonomics.

Tenderers must present documentation of their legal registration in a company register or a trade register in the country where the tenderer is established.

Documentation Requirement

The contracting authority will evaluate the tenderer's compliance with the qualification requirements in the following manner:

If the tenderer has valid reasons for not being able to provide the documentation requested by the contracting authority, the tenderer can prove his economic and financial capacity with another document, including for example a parent company guarantee, bank guarantee, etc.
