2021-119 Hire and operation of teaching permit for salmon and trout farming

The aquaculture industry is a large and important industry in Møre og Romsdal, with a need to recruit competent labour within the profession. Møre og Romsdal County, as the school owner and responsible for sixth form education, (hereafter called the contracting authority), therefore has a particular responsibility to facilitate an educational offer that gives our students good and relevant competence, both theoretical and practical.
The contracting authority thus sees a need to apply to the Directorate of Fisheries for a teaching permit for salmon and trout farming. Any teaching permit will be hired out to a fish farming company (hereafter called the tenderer), which will carry out work under the permit. See point 2.9.
The contracting authority, c/o Kristiansund Sixth Form College, will, together with the chosen tenderer, give students in first year Natural Resources and second year aquaculture good subject learning in accordance with the current curriculum goals.

The contracting authority uses electronic procurement processes via the system provider Mercell (www.mercell.no). Amongst other things, tenders must be submitted electronically by the stated tender deadline.
Tenderers are responsible for submitting tenders by the tender deadline.
Tenderers are recommended, therefore, to submit tenders well before the deadline expires, for example, at least 1 hour before the tender deadline.
