Under this procurement we want to purchase two smart 920 nm femtosecond fibre lasers, and also have the option for four additional units during the next 3 years.

In the system developed by the Kavli Institute, they need two high quality femtosecond laser sources that must be able to provide 920 nm, and at the same time be powerful enough to give a good two photon signal for in-vivio GCamp imaging. In order to make the entire system as compact as possible, and in order to move from room to room, they need to use a new generation type fibre laser that integrates power modulation (acousto-optic modulator) and GDD compensation in the laser head, at the same time as the entire set-up should be less than 300 mm x 400 mm.
