The Project New Water Supply Oslo (Norwegian: NVO) and the Trunk network project is covering a large area and several straits. There is a risk of subsidence for several areas far away from the line. The contracting authority therefore needs a system that can monitor subsidence over large areas, with mm accuracy. There is also a need to find out if there are ongoing subsidence for some areas prior to execution of the tunnel work. This must be solved with radar surveillance by satellite of subsidence which will be a supplement to a conventional follow-up of subsidence.
