In connection with concept development and preliminary project of the floating bridge over Bjørnafjorden [the Bjørna Fjord] there is a need to implement hydrodynamic model research. The contracting authority needs special competence in hydrodynamic and model research in order to contribute to and made the specifications for hydrodynamic model research. SVV [the Norwegian Public Roads Administration] wants a resource person to assist us in this work.

The work quantity will vary throughout the assignment, and we anticipate that the 1 000 hours estimated for the assignment will vary in work quantity from 30 %-70 % during the period of the assignment duration. Commencement of the assignment is anticipated to be 1 October 2020 and will continue until 31 July 2021.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

The contracting authority has the option on the following in addition to the contract: assistance with completion of any remaining work from the main assignment. Assist with implementation and quality assurance of consultancy work related to model research and hydrodynamics. If relevant, provide input to procurements and tender documentation. It will be possible to extend the assignment for 1 year + 1 year. The work quantity of the option(s) will be uncertain but is anticipated to be between a 30 % - 70 % position. The deadline for triggering options is 1 July 2021 and 1 July 2022. The option price is included in the tender sum when evaluating the tenders but is not part of the contract sum.
