EEA 072-2020 Framework Agreement for the Renewal of Pipelines including Excavation, Pipe Bursting and Close Fit Pipes 2021-2023

Bergen kommune

Bergen Municipality has approx. 900 km of water pipelines and approx. 1 200 km of sewage pipelines. There is a major focus on the renewal of pipelines, and our objective is to renew 0.7 — 1 % of the pipeline network per year.
The renewal is being undertaken with both excavation and No Dig/excavation-free methods.
The planned assignments for the renewal of pipelines have a value of up to NOK 100 million a year. This is a considerable increase compared with previous years' contracts for such assignments. It is also an instrument for increasing the speed of the renewal of the water and sewage pipeline network in Bergen Municipality.
The Water and Sewage Agency retains the right to determine which of our assignments will be executed on this framework agreement, and which assignments will be included on the contract/other contracts.
The assignments must be executed for the entire water and sewage network in Bergen Municipality and not for one specific work site.
