The Ilevollen project is part of a larger project that has stretched from Kongens gate from St. Olav's gate toward Ila, Nordre Ilevollen along Ilaparken and past Hjorten Health and Welfare Centre. The project is divided intro three lots, Nordre Ilevollen, Skansen and Kongens gate.

This project concerns lot 1 Nordre Ila. The lot includes roads, footpaths, street lighting, metrobus stations, replacement of tram tracks including overhead lines. Furthermore, a review and assessment of co-location of tram/Metrobus stops at Hjorten HVS will be carried out, as well as reporting crossing of cyclists over the junction point Byåsveien/Søndre Ilevollen (at the round-about).

The main aim of the procurement is to develop the construction plan and estimate for the street project Nordre.

Ilevollen, including the measures Boreal will implement with replacement of the tram track and contact lines. Furthermore, the project, together with the project owner, will clarify:

— boundary in the east toward Kongens gate and Skansen Station

— boundary in the south toward Byåsveien

— condition of the current infrastructure over and underground

— placement and design of Ila Station

— protection of trees in the street, possibly establishment of new green areas

— design of crossing O.J. Høyems gate and signage of vehicle traffic to here

— replace the pedestrian crossing at Hans Nissens gate with facilitated crossing point.

In connection with the road project, some of the technical municipal infrastructure will also be renewed, as well as clarifying interest from other infrastructure owners in affected areas. This will be included in the construction plan and projections.

The tenderer is required to offer personnel from all trade disciplines required to deliver complete projects for urban development through sub-contractors.

A preliminary project has been implemented for Miljøpakken for Statens Vegvesen [Environmental Package for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration] deals with all of the lots, the preliminary project is enclosed as part of the tender documents.
