The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, henceforth referred to as Udir, would like to enter into a Framework Agreement with a service provider that can operate parts of our server portfolio and some sector-related services based on Drupal and Moodle.
The portfolio includes physical servers, virtual servers and containerisation in a computer centre in Oslo. The physical servers are hosts to a private virtualised cloud solution based on KVM. The virtual servers are primarily operated on sector-related services based on Drupal and Moodle, as well as some internal support systems. The portfolio includes, in addition to the private virtual cloud system, virtual servers as a service, storage and backup, and containerisation applications that are orchestrated by OpenShift via and the PaaS agreement.

The service provider shall migrate and undertake the operational responsibility for servers, storage, backup, system for operation and containerisation, some Drupal websites and all Moodle based websites.
The Framework Agreement is 2 years. Unilateral option for Udir for extending the agreement for 2 + 2 years.
Beskrivelse av fornyelser:
Udir wants to sign a contract for an option that includes a potential option for prolongation during the entire or parts of the assignment period. Option for 2 years extension after the original assignment period and possible for 2 years after this.
The objective of the option is to ensure stable operations.
Udir will decide whether to take up the option within 3 months prior to the contract expiration date.
