Hadsel Municipality is constructing a new health centre along Dr. Thodesgate in Stokmarknes. The health centre consists of 2 floors plus a basement, and it will house a total of 3 departments split between the 2 floors. The ground floor will house a doctor surgery and personnel rooms, whilst the first floor will house a health station, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and administration. Access to the health centre will be from Dr. Thodesgate via the building's ground floor.
