The contract includes the development and implementation of national management education for managers in nurseries. The National management education scheme is a further education service that was initiated autumn 2011. The management education scheme shall be continued for a 5-year period from 2020-2025. The target group for the education is managers in the nurseries. Cf. the Norwegian Nursery school Act § 17. Assistant managers may also for apply to the study. Assistant managers are in this context defined as persons who undertake the manager's functions and who safeguard the managerial tasks in the nurseries when the manager is absent. Managers shall be given priority to the studies. Assistant managers can be offered studies if capacity is available.
