The contract includes the monitoring of spawning stock sizes of salmon and the sea trout through annual fish counting in watercourses. The counting must be carried out in accordance with descriptions in NS 9456:2015. Surveillance cameras can be used for fish counting in fish ladders. The fish counting in accordance with NS 9456:2015 must take place in the period between the fishing season is ended and time of spawning. The monitoring of fish migration by using surveillance cameras in fish ladders shall be implemented from May and until the migration starts in the autumn.
