The government has decided that Norway will participate in the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. EXPO 2020 will be arranged from 20.10.2020 until 10.4.2021. The theme for the exhibition is 'connecting minds, creating the future', with the sub-themes 'opportunity', 'mobility' and 'sustainability'. Innovasjon Norge has entered into a contract with Rintala Eggertson architects and Expomobilia for the construction of a pavilion for EXPO 2020.
This procurement will cover the exhibition and content delivery for the Norwegian pavilion.
It is the document 'Part III Qualification Basis — Competitive Dialogue — Content EXPO' that applies to the first part of the contest.
Questions about the pre-qualification will not be answered before the beginning of August.

This procurement will cover the exhibition and content delivery for the Norwegian pavilion.

It is the document 'Part III Qualification Basis — Competitive Dialogue — Content EXPO' that applies to the first part of the contest.

Questions about the pre-qualification will not be answered before the beginning of August.

The aim of this assignment is to get delivery of content and experiences for the Norwegian pavilion.

There are 2 aims of Norway's participation in EXPO 2020: I) Strengthen Norwegian business' competitiveness in the United Arab Emirates and the gulf region, and II) strengthen Norway's international position as a leading sea nation. To support this aim, the overall theme for Norway's participation will be 'Ocean Space'.

IN would like to enter into a contract for the development of exhibition elements in accordance with the specifications in the dialogue document[1] for the period EXPO 2020 Dubai is held, as a combined hire and purchase contract. Innovasjon Norge will use the delivery during EXPO 2020, and the Tenderer will take over the disposal of all 'hardware'/the exhibition elements after EXPO 2020 ends in April 2021. At this point the tenderer will take back possession of the hired hardware/material and equipment, and will be responsible for its disassembly and possible reuse. The tenderer will be free to use the equipment in the region, sell it, or use it in another way. EXPO requires that minimum 60 % of delivered equipment is reused or recycled.
