E6 Ulsberg-Vindåsliene

The contract work is for the construction of a new E6 between Ulsberg and Vindåsliene, including a connection to the new county road 700 in the centre of Berkåk. The project goes through Rennebu and Midtre Gauldal Municipalities. It is a prerequisite that the development plan is approved by the end of June 2019.
Approx. 25 km new E6 (mostly dual carriageway) is to be constructed in virgin terrain, to the east of Dovrebanen, and approx. 1,2 km of the new county road 700. The project primarily concerns transporting rock and moraine matter. Furthermore, the project includes 2 tunnels, Vindåsli tunnel, approx. 1 950 m and Ulsberg tunnel, approx. 1 450 m. There will be four large bridges on the E6, and in addition a large number of overpasses, culverts and game crossing solutions. 2 new junctions are to be developed on the E6, Ulsbergkrysset and Berkåkkrysset. In addition there will be a junction where the new county road 700 joins in the centre of Berkåk.
