Consultancy Services for International Cooperation — Framework Agreement

Miljødirektoratet

The Norwegian Environment Agency is involved in bilateral environmental cooperation with environment authorities in several countries, including China, India, Myanmar and South Africa. We are also engaged in the programme “Oil for Development”, which currently has 13 cooperation countries. The general aim of the cooperation is to contribute to increasing capacity in administration authorities. An important theme for the work is an understanding of the possible direct and indirect effects of changes in the use of areas connected to the development of infrastructure and other human activity on habitats and biological diversity, in particular for important eco-systems and protected areas. Based on this, we are looking for consultancy assistance in the form of a Framework Agreement for our cooperation with national authorities in our partner countries. Emphasis is put on the fact that activities will be further specified in a dialogue with cooperation partners and will depend on agreements with cooperation countries, needs and budgets.
