Oslo kommune v/ Bymiljøetaten

The Agency for Urban Environment would like to procure a contractor for building and construction work for the street and tram renovation in Storgata project. There is a need to upgrade Storgata as a public transport route and for pedestrians. The upgrades to the public transport route /upgrades to the infrastructure will be carried out in connection with the planned procurement of new trams in Oslo under the management of the tram programme. The project is a cooperation between the Agency for Urban Environment (BYM), Sporveien AS and the agency for water and sewage.

Kort beskrivelse:
The Storgata project includes the upgrading and renovation of the entire Storgata, from facade to facade. This includes the renovation of the tramway infrastructure, pavements and street, as well as parts of the water and sewage network. The project consists of upgrades to Storgata from Nygata to Nybrua. On the Kirkeristen-Nygata stretch, the road /tram line will be altered to a pure 2 lane road. The kerbstone line on the north side is to moved towards the south and a goods delivery bay is to established in order to ensure sufficient goods deliveries in the area. The project consists of approx. 750 m of new double track from the junction Nygata - Storgata (called Stjerneplassen) to Nybrua, as well as approx. 800 m of temporary tram lines in Stenersgata –Christian Kroghs gate. 2 new stops of 75 m are to be established: Youngs gate stop and Hausmannsgate stop. The existing Brugata stop and the current Hausmannsgate stop are to be closed /removed.
